Is Chitkara University a good option for hotel management?

Dear Mohit, I cannot say about the hotel management programme at Chitkara University but being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of this programme at LPU. One of my friend's brother is also studying there in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology BHMCT ) Let me share few points about Hotel Management programme at LPU : Curriculum: High academic standards maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts. Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges. University-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff. Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation. Placement: 100% placements record with minimum 10% students selected as Management Trainee (Junior Executive level) till date and the placement is with brands like Cox & Kings, Carnival Cruise, JET Airways, Oberoi, Taj, Leela, etc. Package: Six students offered the package of Rs 8 Lacs by Carnival Cruise. I do not have any idea about Chitkara University, but I do have the idea about LPU being a pass out from there only. Without any doubt, LPU is a better option to pursue your dreams and in order to grow professionally as well. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing the highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. I would say that Lovely Professional University is a great university which every students are looking for. Be it studies, hangout places, infrastructure or extracurricular activities, this university has it all.
