    Off course, it is good for everyone. After all, in a developing nation infrastructure is an important factor and for civil engineers and very much needed, and it is a mind game of construction and has a good scope in India, so it is good for you.

    Hi Sanyukta,
    After completing B.Tech from civil engineering, you will get a job of site engineer. It is bit hectic for girls to do job of a site engineering. If you are dedicated and have will power to pursue B.Tech in civil, then you can do it.
    Mostly, girls opt for either CS, IT or ECE branch because job in this field is somehow reliable.
