There has been a dip in number of civil engineering aspirants because some other streams are thought to be more glamorous. Civil Engineers are an integral part of society, without them, we would have no roads, airports, buildings, dams, harbours etc. It is safe to say that a Civil Engineering degree gives you the best of both worlds due to its diversity (there's a whole lot of things one can do in this field). C
