    Hi,
    I am still not able to understand why people think girls are not suitable for civil engineering. In fact, in my opinion girls can and should do civil engineering. Many people say Civil engineering is field engineering and girls would have difficult time in working with labor class and would face numerous other site problems. But why those people forget that civil engineering is not limited to only field engineering, in fact its one of the broadest field of engineering. Girls can opt for office jobs like analysis, designing, tendering, managing projects and many other office jobs.

    Surely, it is suitable. You may opt for design and project engineering fields with expertise in computer aided engineering. Learn and gain experience on StaadPro, ArchCAD, ANSYS etc.

    As per conventional thought process, the best options for girls are computer science, electronics and IT. But in todays era, we can see equal participation of both genders in all domains, be it civil or mechanical even.

    The answer is a big YES! Girl can be a civil engineer. Don't you know that almost 25 percent of civil engineering students are females? Some of them can even outsmart male engineers in work.
    The other branches of engineering that has lots of female students aside from civil are computer engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics & communication engineering and some in industrial engineering.
    The most in demand engineering branch that employs lots of lady engineers are the civil, computer, chemical and electronics & communication engineering.
