To prepare for the CLAT exam, you require the right approach along with the right study materials and strategy.

Plan your preparation after knowing your strengths and weaknesses. You need to be organized and follow a time-table.

You may refer to reference books related to the course. Internet will also be a huge source of information for you. You may even join a coaching institute to work on your fundamentals.

While selecting the best institute, you need to check some of the important parameters such as batch size, syllabus, faculty, fees etc.

When you get a grip on the basic syllabus, you may refer to mock tests / previous year

Yes, but in Maharashtra, it is not compulsory. Here "MH-CET law exam" is needed.

Hi.

  • Level: Comparable overall. NLET may be slightly more analytical/legal-reasoning oriented.

  • Preparation Overlap: Preparing for CLAT will largely cover NLET syllabus, but you may need extra practice on complex legal reasoning questions for NLET.

  • Difficulty: Both are competitive; CLAT is high due to large number of applicants, while NLET can feel harder in legal aptitude sections.
