CLAT is just one of the entrance test in order to pursue B.A. LL.B. Thus, not compulsory.

CLAT is not Compulsory, it is required for National Law colleges of India. B.A. LL.B. From IILM University is a 5 year integrated course, students with any discipline from recognised board in 10+2 can do it. They can work successfully with companies, law firms, and as legal officers at various organizations. They can also represent ministries in government through their panel in the courts as a standing counsel and represent the company in capacities such as in-house counsel or an advisory and perform all that functions of a lawyer. The candidates have to download the application forms available on the official website of the university: https://iilm.edu.in. They have to fill all necessary details in the form and submit it. CLAT entrance exam is for admission to NLUs for B.A. LL.B. Course. It is most sought as the NLUs are the most reputed one. But absolutely it is not the last option.
