CMR Institute of Technology is one of the best engineering Colleges for aspiring engineering students. It is one of the three colleges established by the MGR Educational Society.
CMRIT is a UGC Autonomous College, approved by the AICTE and accredited by NAAC with an 'A' grade and is also NBA accredited.
CMR Institute of Technology is ranked 84th by India Today 2024 under the Engineering (Private) category, 21st among private Engineering colleges across India as per the Education World 2024–25 rankings, and 72 by Times 2024 for BTech.
