Is coaching necessary for qualifying JEE exam with a good rank?

I totally agree with Radhika.
But, coaching is required for JEE Advanced
Or else, the questions would be Greek and Latin.
JEE Mains can be written without coaching. -
Hi,
It isn't necessary to attend coaching classes to qualify JEE with a good rank, but then you will have to be self-driven and a highly motivated individual. The thing with coaching classes is that you will end up seeing people studying, which will prevent you from slacking off as competition keeps you on your toes.
Coaching doesn't guarantee a good rank either, as it depends on how well you utilize your time and the resources given to you.
So, it depends on how important is JEE to you and whether you can motivate yourself or not.
