According to some sources, the College of Engineering and Technology, Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) has good placements. BPUT has a dedicated training and placement cell that helps students find jobs. The university also has a well-developed infrastructure, including a wifi-enabled campus, digital classrooms, a central library, and a residential area.
In 2021, 95% of students in the B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering course at CET BBSR were placed. The highest package offered was 25 LPA, the lowest was 10 LPA, and the average package was 17 LPA. Tata was the top recruiting company.
