    The college of vocational studies university of delhi is a government institute. It is constituent college of the university of Delhi which is public university. 

    The college was established in 1972 with an emphasis on vocational courses. 

    The university is listed among the country's most prestigious educational institutions. Delhi university has been ranked 13 and 16 under the ' university ' and ' research institution ' categories respectively.
