Is colour blindness test considered for B.Tech in marine engineering? What is the visual requirement after completion of course for sailing?

Candidate must be in good mental and physical health and free from any deficiency likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties. Color blindness is not permitted and Distance vision must be unaided 0.5 (6/12) in each eye or 0.67 (6/9) in better eye and 0.33 (6/18) in other eye.
