Is Columbus College of Art and Design cheaper than School of the Art Institute of Chicago?

A few scholarships are available specifically for international students, including those from India at Columbus College of Art and Design.

Merit-Based Scholarships- provides a variety of merit-based scholarships for talented students. These scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, portfolio quality, and other achievements.

Diversity Impact Scholarship-This scholarship prioritizes students of color as recipients and it awards an amount of $3000 to the students.To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant should be a full-time CCAD student and must submit an essay.

Students don't have to pay for utilities in on-campus housing. 

Off-campus housing costs are not explicitly given online but they are likely comparable to on campus housing.

Overall there is not much difference in the cost structure. Living on-campus, students don't have to worry about amenities and safety while living off campus they can have more independence and manage their budget accordingly.

Columbus College of Art and Design was established in 1879. It is one of the oldest private art and design colleges in the United States. The college is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the Higher Learning Commission. CCAD have a great diverse student community with 32% of students being International.With a focus on entrepreneurship and the arts, including fashion design, animation, illustration, and photography, it offers a broad range of degree options.  Some of the notable alumni of CCAD are American visual artist, writer, and instructor Alex Grey who is well-known for his psychedelic and spiritual artwork, which includes his series of twenty-one paintings called Sacred Mirrors and American storyboard artist, director, and voice actor Brian Fee who is employed at Pixar.
