Both of these engineering specialties are concerned with the conception, creation, and testing of electronic devices and systems for communication. The primary distinction between the two is that, although Communication Engineering primarily concentrates on the latter, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a broader area that includes both. Graduates of ECE programs frequently possess a solid understanding of telecommunications theory as well as analog and digital electronics. Additionally, they have extensive experience with CAD software.
