The difficulty of company secretary does not just lie in the studies and exams but also in appearing and reappearing for them while one does not give up.

The subjects require a lot of preparation which would also prepare you for your career ahead. So definitely the course is difficult but with correct strategy and lots of hard work, it is achievable.

I think, it will be tough to complete because there are many papers and clearing the papers is also difficult, so you can go for CMA (US) base course which can be completed within 8 months of period and it's not too tough as compared to CS course. CS is an Indian base course and CMA is (US) base course. But, CMA will be easy to complete and it has job opportunities also.

No, it's very easy. There is very few practical problems as compared to CA CMA course. It only based on theoretical study.

    1. Everything is easy when you are crazy about it
And nothing is easy when you are lazy about it.
    2. Hard work + luck = Success
These 2 rules apply in any professional courses like CA/CS/CMA. Why it is tough?
    1. Syllabus is more theoretical. Memorizing is tough when you have so much to read.
    2. The syllabus is vast. You have to study regularly. This is not an exam in which you can read at night just before the exam and pass.
    3. You have to keep yourself updated with recent case laws and amended regulations.
    4. Revision is a must. You have to keep revising what you have studied for a week or month.
    5. The most irritating thing I ever face

The difficulty of any course solely depends on us and how we plan to clear it. CS is not so difficult if you have done preparation on a regular basis if not it can be difficult.
