Streams in demand are electronics and communication, electrical and electronics, computer science and engineering, instrumentation and so on. Considering the trends is industrial growth the world over, computer science stream seems to have good prospects. The scope again depends on the qualities of the person who is entitled to compete in the job market.

Scope of a computer engineer:
Job opportunities are available for graduates in government as well as private sector.
The graduates can take up the following job posts:
1. Software engineer.

Computer engineering is a good field to pursue. But, I would suggest you to opt for CSE as it has been around for quite a long period of time and you will get to learn designing of software, looking at algorithms and how the two interface with other software.
It is part mathematics, part engineering and a little bit of creative arts. The career opportunities are far and wide. Nowadays, there are a lot of new age specializations available in CSE.
