In the latest Times Higher Education Ranking 2023, Cornell ranked #20 in the World University Ranking. QS World University Rankings has placed the university at #13 in QS World University Rankings 2024. Candidates should note that rankings are different due to the diverse parameters used by ranking agents. While QS puts a maximum focus on Academic Reputation (40%) followed by Faculty/Student Ratio and Citations per Faculty at 20% each, Times Higher Education (THE) devotes equal importance to Teaching, Research, and Citations at 30% each.
