    No, counselling is not required for admission to M.Sc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology at Panjab University. Admission is based on an entrance test (PU-CET-PG) conducted by Panjab University and UG merit for students from other institutes, while students who have passed B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology from Panjab University are eligible without an entrance test.
