Is counselling required for Gurugram University BTech admission?

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Gurugram University BTech admission</strong> is conducted as per AICTE/HSTES guidelines. Candidates are required to participate in the couselling rounds conducted by HSTES or Haryana State Technical Education Society. Since Gurugram University is a participating university in the HSTES counselling, interested have to register and fill in choices based on their preference, eligibility and qualifying merit. The eligibility criteria for HSTES are mebtioned below:</p><p><strong>Academic qualification:</strong></p><ul><li>A candidate should have Class 12 with 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Physics/ Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.</li></ul><p>OR</p><ul><li aria-level="1">passed DVoc stream in the same or allied sector.</li></ul><p><strong>Admission based on:</strong>&nbsp;JEE Main 2025 ranks</p>
