IS creamy layer identified by parents and mother annual income only? even though candidate is earning more than 4.5 LPA

My main concern is that my parents combined income is less than 2LPA but recently i have got a job giving me more than 4.5 LPA will this rule me out of the benefit of OBC reservation? IF Yes then to avail this do i have to resign my job before appearing for competative exams like civil service. Plea
