Is CS is required subject in HSC to opt IT in B.Tech?

NO it is not compulsory. if you opt for that it will be added advantage to learn basics of CS i first year. Some of the top universities of India which are pioneer in education are IIT's, NIT's, BIT's, PEC, tharpar, Lovely Professional University.
