Both IIT Palakkad and NIT Tiruchirappalli are one of the top-ranked institutions present in India. NIT Tiruchirappalli is ranked eighth by NIRF 2022 under the Engineering category whereas, IIT Palakkad is ranked 68 by NIRF 2022 under the Engineering category. Both colleges have great faculty and infrastructure for teaching the CSE course. The placement opportunities provided by both colleges are also great. Ultimately, The decision lies on the student according to what he/she is actually looking for in a college or university.

No doubt, NIT Trichy is the best option you'll never regret. It's one of best colleges in India. You'll get decent placements in this college. It ranks higher than most of the IITs. That too CSE in NIT Trichy is very good choice. NIT Trichy has good infrastructure, faculty and, placement records. IIT palakkad is nowhere near to NIT Trichy in NIRF ranking .
