Mechanical engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with the design, manufacturing, maintenance and testing of machines. It is also considered as one of the most diverse and versatile disciplines of engineering. Dear Ansh Sharma, I am not much aware of mechanical engineering at CU but being alumni of LPU I can share the details of this programme at LPU with you. My friend did B.Tech in ME from LPU and got placed in an MNC. Being a alumni of LPU ,I would say The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream. The labs and workspace at LPU School of Mechanical Engineering, was fully equipped with all the necessary machinery that was required for wholesome learning.

To my view, a good institution is that which is experienced, possesses many rankings and has wonderful record in placements. Addressing your query, comparison of any institute is based on the feedback of the students. Initially I took feedback of the students of CU who actually showed a negative response in every aspect being its academic content, exposures and placements.
