No, it is not required, but it requires:

  1. More than 50% in 12th from recognised board.
  2. NEET UG qualified with 500+ as safe score.
  3. It is state university so obviously if you are from Uttarakhand you have a reservation.
  4. You must have opted PCB in 12th class.
  5. Also it is quite good in infrastructure and fees.

No, CUET is not required for admission to the Doon Institute of Medical Sciences (DIMS). However, DIMS does require students to: 
 
  • Pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects
  • Have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks
  • Complete 10+2 from a recognised board with minimum marks of 50%
