Is current education system sufficient for India to growth?

Good topic, deserving an elaborate discussion. But, it needs much to state a view point.I think that it is bad because not even one Indian institution is reputed in the world.

The education system is very good. but the quota seats and everything is degrading the standards of education. coz of this quota system non deserving candidates are being left out . quota should be based on poverty and not on caste creed or color.
