km7917 good point made, but in my opinion if a student has a degree, but he does not have the required knowledge for particular job, then he might face some problems in getting job.

In my opinion students should always opt for a course as per their interest and liking and not as per the current trends, I would request sheetal241 Kamaraju Pulugurtha and Archana Wandhare to share their expert opinion on this.

CLIND good point made, absolutely degree represents academic qualifications, degree act as a proof that a student has completed certain level of education.

i also think that degree is more important thing in the professional course.
because in the present era degree is most important thing than talent.
    if u don't have a degree,you can't apply for jobs.
degree shows your academic backgrounds, your intellectual level and many more.

    THANKS MSK70515 For inviting me.
Degree is important when you want to make an impression in front of others. It is very important for applying for a job. For example, a person without B.Tech or B degree can not apply for a job of engineer. Degree is what represents our academic qualifications. It is important to pass the eligibility criteria for jobs. All degrees are important whether under graduate, post graduate, graduate or masters. But it must be kept in mind that what counts in real life and application in real world is your knowledge not your degree. One person may get a degree in a particular course but is unable to find job then
