The University of Delhi, commonly referred to as DU or Delhi University, is one of the most prominent academic institutions in the nation and has been designated as a 'Institute of Excellence' by the UGC. Since its founding in 1922, Delhi University has expanded to become one of the biggest in India, enrolling over 6 Lacs students in remote learning, UG, PG, certificate, and Diploma programs. According to the NIRF 2023 Rankings, it is rated 11th and 22nd in the university and overall categories, respectively.
