Takshashila campus of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, is recognised as Tier-II university. Even though it provides choice undergraduate and postgraduate programs is famous in Madhya Pradesh it is not always in the list of top national colleges like tier 1 universities (IIT, NIT, and central universities).
· Mittal, Dalal, and Vaishnavi explain that DAVV is known for having a decent academic facilities, good placements, and affiliating several colleges as a second-tier university recognised on the national level in terms of ranking.
