Alagappa University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi and obtained 2 (f) and 12 (B) status to receive UGC and central government grants. The university has obtained A+ Grade with CGPA of 3.64 grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
