is distance education program of punjab technical university is approved by UGC?
because few days before, i have saw in PTU website, the ministry of education department of india is not permanently give the UGC approval to PTU. is this statement right ? please give the answer.

yes it is UGC approved distance and regular course

IN CASE SOME UNIVERSITIES ARE DISAPPROVED,THE LIST IS PROVIDED BY THE UGC IN A LETTER TO ALL COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.THE LETTER IS KEPT BY THE SIDE AT THE TIME OF ADMISSIONS.IF THERE IS NO MENTION IN THE LETTER.IT MEANS THE INSTITUTION HAS NO OBJECTION FROM THE UGC.SO,CHECK WITH YOUR NEAREST COLLE

yes it is approved but it is far better to do a regular course then that of correpondence
