Is doing Diploma course worth after 12th instead of doing graduation? I want to do cinematography and photography.

Most of the employers prefer degree students. You learn more during a degree course as it involves complete studies. Even if you manage to get some job doing just Diploma course, there is a strong chance that you could lose out on some promotions and salary rise at your workplace because of stiff competition where other equally good performers have a degree in hand. -

As per the rules of UGC you can do both Diploma and degree, do your Diploma from where ever you want and apply for a degree from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University). . -

It is good if you complete class 12th first, it has more value, I would suggest you complete your class 12th and after that, go for Bachelors in cinematography. -
