Well, I think you will need a Master's degree for that but you can work after your Diploma and study further with the money you earn.

Yes, it will be a good choice, but everything depends on your interest. If you have interest in Game Programming then you should go for it. There are less competition in this field as compared to other courses. But, moreover Diploma will be not enough you need to have a master's degree or some other courses also. Best of luck.

Lower Middle Class and selection of Diploma has no relevance. Unfortunately, in our country, it has been perceived that if students cannot financially afford to take up graduation, then Diploma would be the best alternative. Basically, this comparison happened in engineering. Those who could not do plus two due to financial issues were offered the seat in polytechnic colleges. But that's not the same in game industry. Basically, game development is a software design and development course. Even a startup game company would think several times to recruit a game designer or game programmer if the candidate does not have a degree. Moreove

Yes, it is a good choice, there are many demands of game design developer in market, not only in India but abroad too. If you are doing Diploma in game design, then you can get a good job, or do freelance, but if you want to grow more than I would suggest you to do Masters in game design. Most of abroad companies require Master's degree for providing you jobs.
