Is doing distance btech is valuable for future?

    First of all i would like to clear you one thing Engineering from distance has been stopped by AICTE as AICTE not recognize distance Engineering courses
    if you planning to do AMIE Courses then you can go ahead they are good and have same future as BE or BTech

    Information obtained so far is that neither DEC nor AICTE has recognised engineering degree courses through distance education. You may prefer AMIE/AMIETE/AMIME/AMIE/AMAeSI etc which are considered equivalent to BE/B Tech for jobs in industry(excluding faculty positions).     Hi Kumar,
    A degree in a distance education has both pros and cons.
    The advantages are:
    A job along with studies to meet the financial situation.
    save money and save time.
    You can learn at your own pace.
    Study with your own by referring all the available resources as like central library to get the more practical thing by turn over the old and rare books.
    The cons are:
    Chances of distraction highCompared to regular learning ,distance learning has a lack of concentration .
    Complicated technology
    Lack of faculty source and Lose out on networking -There is no chance of interaction with the scholar to get practical oriented knowledge and contacts am
