Is doing post-graduation better than a private job just after completing the graduation from mechanical engineering stream?

My academic percentage in 10 and 12th is above 85% and now, my BE degree is about 7.4. I do have some experience in team work projects, interest in design and manufacturing. I do participate in many events like BAJA, SAE Supra, ISNEE, etc. I did give GATE exam 2016 and can score it upto 40 marks.

Higher studies are always preferable but depending upon the situation. If you don't require any job at this point of time then go for post graduation else you may pursue distance education along with a job.
