DTU and IIT Delhi has made a name for themselves in the industry. DTU has been ranked at the 30th position under the Engineering category. DTU has also been ranked at the 2nd position under the 'Engineering' category by the NIRF Ranking 2025.

DTU is indeed a great college for engineering, specially B.Tech. Since it takes students through JEE Mains, the quality of students is also very good.

Being a very old government college, it has gained immense recognition as well. Syllabus is a bit outdated. The subjects in the first year are common
