Is Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology a good college to pursue BE in Automobile Engineering?

DY Patil School of Engineering, Lohegaon has a lovely campus and helpful faculty members on the plus side. On the negative side, it is located in a remote area and is new and there is a certain amount of uncertainty about placements. One can expect them to be comparable to other reputed D Y Patil campuses but one never be sure. The faculty members were very cooperative but relatively inexperienced (well it could be understood as the college is a newbie). They encouraged participation in various competitions. But the worst thing, Admin department, with its poor co-ordination between colleagues, there were frequent clashes related to fees, exam forms, scholarships, etc. Education quality is mediocre. Placements, to be frank, the first batch did not have any formal placement drive but most of them are now into some job or the other. Bottom line, if you are thinking of joining this college, get ready to enjoy school again.
