The University has not released the 2023 placement statistics yet. However, the NIRF report 2023 is released. As per the report, 1,130 UG students were placed during Dr MGR University placements 2022. The median package offered to UG (4-year) students was INR 5.6 LPA.

MGRERI is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). The institute has a good placement record, with the average salary package for BTech graduates being around INR 6 LPA.
