Dream Institute of Technology is a Tier 2 College. A very reputed institution offering quality education with decent placement opportunities. It's not one of the famous or so called colleges like IITs or NITs, but it provides good learning exposure and industry experience. Rankings differ from source to source, but in general, it is a respected one for engineering studies.

Dream Institute of Technology being an engineering college is classified as Tier-II. Tier two colleges are also excellent with quality education and good placements, they are however not so well ranked as tier one colleges¹. Tier 2 colleges are as follows: National Institute of Technology, Surathkal; Indian Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad; Manipal Institute of Technology; and Vellore Institute of Technology.
