Is dropping a year for IIT JEE coaching a good option? I want a top engineering college for B.Tech CSE.

Yes, surely, a successful drop can change year life but for this, you need to do lot of hard work.
For the complete 1 year, you have to sacrifice with each and every thing and should concentrate only on your studies. So, if you are ready to sacrifice and study well. You can take a drop.
