IITs and DTU cannot be compared because of IITs' reputation as the greatest government engineering institutes in India. But according to the 2023 NIRF rating of engineering institutes, DTU and a few IITs are almost tied.

There is no comparison of IITs with DTU owing to the brand name IITs have for being India's best government Engineering colleges.
