Yes, there are many universities in USA accept a score of Duolingo English Test to access the English proficiency of a student. Other than admission, the Duolingo score is accepted for offering via. So, if you are planning to study in USA then Duolingo English Test is a perfect alternative to IELTS

With more than 1,000 programmes that have started accepting Duolingo English Test over 2022-23, more than 4200 institutions now accept the DET, out of which more than 70% of these are located in the US.
