However, East Point College was established in 1997 and is managed by the M. G. Charitable Trust. East Point Group of Institutions has a multi-disciplinary campus with a total of 12 colleges that offer courses to students in affiliation with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), VTU, and Bengaluru North University (BNU).
