    No, being a student pursuing ECE I can tell, it isn't a tough stream. If you can manage studying 1 hour per day (at least) then it won't sound difficult for you. I would suggest studying whole semester instead of managing all the chapters just before exam. Once you invest your time, you would find it easy and interesting. It just requires a bit more time investment than other streams. It requires good knowledge of circuits and signals.

    No, ECE is not a tough course. It just revolves around semiconductors and its application in electronics and analog/digital communication as a part of communication. You just need to keep your basics clear of semiconductor physics studied in 11-12th.
