See it totally depends, both the subjects have its own advantages and disadvantages. But Taking ECE can lead you to both software and hardware industries. It is known to be one of the toughest subjects in Engineering, but taking its scope in the future, it will pay you the price as it is an evergreen branch, but CSE is not.

Both are equivalently good sectors. Computer Science and engineering courses will be easy throughout your four years, but electronics and communication engineering will be very tough. Any branch that is integrated with electronics is named an evergreen branch of engineering. Electronics is still an emerging sector in India, and after the "Make-in-India" initiative, we SEE a lot of growth in this sector, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to survive in the Computer Science and Engineering sector. More efficient people with lesser salaries are available to work for the company, and that is why people start getting kicked

Both are equivalently good sectors. CSE course will be easy throughout your 4 years but ECE will be very tough. Any branch that is integrated with electronics is named as an evergreen branch of engineering. Both ECE and CSE are related to each other, and they both have excellent scope in the future. But, considering the recession scenario, one can say that Computer Science Engineering is not an evergreen branch while Electronic and Communication Engineering is an evergreen branch.

It totally varies for both the courses. Each course has its own benefits. However your interests matter. If you are a tech enthusiast who is innovative then you can go with CSE. Or else if you are want to learn both about hardware and software then you can opt for ECE. Job opportunities in both the fields are almost same. Coming to your question, the answer to this maybe yes, because ECE also teaches you about the hardware and basics of software but in CSE you are taught only about the software side.

ECE is the second most demanding branch after CSE. We can not say better but CSE is more secure field and easy to get job sector. ECE is also good but not much as CSE.

It entirely depends; each subject has pros and cons of its own. However, studying ECE can help you break into the electronics and software businesses. It is regarded as one of the most challenging engineering disciplines, but if you consider its future potential, it will pay off because it is an evergreen branch while CSE is not.
