ECE IIIT-H would be better if you want o further concentrate on IT field. It is the best institute for It and related fields even better than many IITs. It is better in terms of Placement, infrastructure, academics, and graduation outcome. Thank You. Hope this helps!

It depends on the branch you are interested in. If you are interested in CS you should definitely go with NIT Trichy and if your interest lies in electronics, you can go with IIIT-H . Both are good colleges.

The decision on the branch selection is completely your choice. Select the one which you find interest. It is after all you who have to work in that particular field. Find your interest. Coming to NIT, Trichy, it has the best placements record in CS compared to other branches.

We can't compare two different branches but yes IIIT, Hyderabad is better than NIT, Trichy. It all depends on your interest. If you have interest in EC then go for IIIT-H or CS then NIT, Trichy.
