Is electrical engineering department of MSIT good?

MSIT is amongst the Top 3 in GGSIPU and Top 15 in Delhi.MSITs location is just perfect, being in Janakpuri which itself is a very good area, is surrounded by areas like Rajouri Garden, CP etc. which gives you a lot of hangout places.Faculties in MSIT are quite good, both from CS/IT and EE.Number of technical societies run by College/Students for EE, which will help you increase your technical skills.Brilliant placement record, companies ranging from Indian giants like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Snapdeal to global giants like Microsoft, Google visits the campus.Very strong alumni base, you will find alumni in IIMs, IITs, doing MS in US, working in Tech giants etc. If you're looking to work in Core-EE companies after your B.Tech, then unfortunately there are not companies visiting the campus (which is true for every other Engineering college apart from the likes of IITs, DTU), though in my batch, a few students got placed in Cadence, CMC, which are Core-EE companies.You will probably have to switch your domain from EE to CS after getting placed, since majority companies visiting are from that domain.
