Is electronics and communication branch a better option than computer science?

Which branch should I choose? I like both CS and E&C and also getting chance a good government college to pursue E&C. So should I choose E&C or go for CS in any private college? I am confused.

ECE is core branch of engineering. This is the age of electronics and telecommunication. ECE engineers can participate in the change the world with changing technology. ECE graduates are employed by Electronics, Telecom and IT companies. Where as CSE graduates are mostly employed in IT companies. Therefor, if given a choice I will prefer ECE over computer.

It depends on you and your skills and liking. But when compared computer Science is a better option as it will provide more opportunities and placement. But if you choose electronic and telecommunication then you will have an advantage that you can move to computer Science later on if u wish but the vice-versa is not possible.
Hope this helps u and all the best!!!
