Is engineering management from University of Strathclyde a good option for January intake? Are there better options to apply in UK?

Yes absolutely. This can be done and is quite a good way to progress your career.
I have a friend at my university who graduated with a bachelors degree in chemical engineering and is now working towards an MS in engineering management.
He used his TOEFL and GRE (general test) scores to apply to the program. It is possible that a university might expect applicants to have a GMAT score. It is purely at the university is discretion and you must look at the program website for application requirements.
But yes, this can definitely be done, people are doing it and I would recommend. -
