Yes, English is a compulsory subject in class 12^th to apply for the UP CNET exam. Candidates must also have passed physics, chemistry, and biology with 50 per cent overall aggregate in class 12^th to be eligible to apply for the nursing entrance exam. Reserved category candidates must have scored 45
