Is entrance exam conducted for BBA admission or is it merit based?

Admission to medical and dental courses (like MBBS and BDS) in India is strictly based on your NEET rank and score not on your 12th grade board exam marks.
When you qualify for NEET and attend the counseling process you must carry the following documents in original along with photocopies:

No. Your board sends the list of top scoring students to Dr Ambedkar Foundation within 15 days of the result. The state government verifies that list and forwards it.

In Merit-cum-Means scholarship, program-wise eligible students will be awarded 70% and 50% fee reimbursements based on their income criteria. The 50% band has been added to make it beneficial to many more students. It is offered to 33 students in total.

The total tuition fee for BPT at NIMS University Jaipur ranges from ₹2.8 Lakh to ₹8 Lakh for the entire course depending on the merit or admission category.

Department toppers from the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years can apply for BMSCEAA Merit Scholarship awards of INR 20,000 per student per semester. This scholarship is for a student who has cleared all exams in a single attempt with zero backlog history.
