<p>No, not every subject in the B.A. (Hons.) in Korean Language course at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) is taught exclusively in Korean. Though the course is mainly teaching the Korean language, literature, and culture, some subjects are delivered in English so that students can grasp complex concepts and academic content. For instance, topics on the history, culture, and society of Korea along with theoretical principles of second language acquisition are delivered in the English language. Yet, over time, language proficiency in Korean is acquired, wherein much of the curriculum is through classes offered in the native Korean tongue so that the students gain fluency.
